Onslow Beach

A beautiful day at Onslow beach.  The last time I was here I was about 3 years old, waving goodbye to my Dad as he rolled out on an LCAC hovercraft, headed off to war.  Navy ships were on the horizon.  Months later, he returned the same way.  That's how Marines used to do it, amphibious style.

Marines Homecoming

This is the reunion of a husband and wife after his 6 month deployment to Afghanastan.  She's been working to get back into shape since he left and lost 50 lbs as a surprise.  Needless to say he couldn't believe his eyes when he saw her.  They were so happy to be back together.  Welcome home Sgt Hower.
